As a Market Operator InfoEngine provides operation services on the basis of an Agreement with the Transmission System Operator(OSP), in the scope of performing the following functions:

  1. Trade Operator: Transmission to OSP, of notifications of sale / purchase of electrical energy agreements, cross – border exchange data, measurement – settlement data, as well as financial settlement for Balancing Units on the Balancing Market.
  2. Technical Trade Operator: Transmission of: offers of integrated scheduling processes, balancing capacity portfolio offers, work programmes, and measurement – settlement data, for Balancing Service Providers’ Scheduling Units.
  3. Measurement Operator: Transmission of Balancing Market Participant measurement data to OSP.

What does a Trade Operator do?
A Trade Operator administers Balancing Units of Balancing Market Participants (URB), this entails transmission of data, via a specialised system WIRE/zOHee, regarding:

  • Concluded Sales / Purchases of electrical Energy Agreements (ZUSE, ZUSEB)
  • Cross- border exchange schedules (ZGWM)
  • Data from physical measurement registers (FRP)
  • Data from Energy Consumption Points (DPPE)

Entity Responsible for Trade Balancing (POBH)

Entity Responsible for Trade Balancing operation scheme:

The POBH service simplifies Balancing Market Participant activity on the energy market.
The POBH service offers:

  • Nomination of energy sale/purchase agreements: Nomination of electrical energy sales/purchase agreements onto the POBH balancing unit;
  • Settlement of imbalance: Precise and timely settlement of differences between effective consumption or production of electrical energy, and nominated trade schedules;
  • Simplification of market participation: Facilitation of active market participation without the need to enter into an agreement with the Transmission System Operator (OSP).

InfoEngine, as POBH, in the scope of the new Grid Code (Warunki Dotyczące Bilansowania- WDB), is classified as POBz (Entity Responsible for Asset Imbalance)without assets of its own. Our activity on the energy market is based upon transparency and impartiality with emphasis on client balancing.

What is more, introduction of received documents inbox allows participants access to all documents received from TSO – full access to data published by TSO.
